A Morning Run, my time to Ponder.

"There is a secret, a secret that every runner knows.
I start at point A. I end at point A. And somewhere in between point A and point A is where I find...The Point."

Call me crazy, but I love nothing more than going out for a morning run. It really doesn't matter what the weather is, I go. Sure, there are days I get sick of piling on the layers of technical attire for a nasty winter run, but I never regret it when I return home. Refreshed, invigorated, and mind rejuvenated.

I run with my dog. She is a great running partner. She knows we will run, but as soon as I dress in the appropriate apparel she gets excited with the anticipation of heading out the door.
I have a poster in my office that has a cartoon picture of a dog running with a girl flying on a leash behind it. It says "I run because my dog makes me" This is true. As much as I run for myself, it would be very hard to say I'm not going to do it today and let her down.
I run to be fit, I run to stay in shape, to be healthy, to be able to eat the foods and drink the wine I love so much, to exercise my dog.
Most of all I run for my mind. To think, to clear my head, to remember, to plan.
It is my time to ponder.

"Nobody says that they wish they hadn't run today."
