Here is a brief list of the highlights that made it that way:
- It was Easter, or as my dear friend Ren refers to it-Resurrection day! I like that. No beating around the bush, just what it is. We celebrated at Hope Park Church in Nashville with the help of their amazingly gifted musicians. WOW!
- It was Matt's 26th birthday. One great reason in my life for celebration. Three words come to my mind - proud, thankful, blessed.
- Warm and sunny.
- Dogs galore! Running, swimming, chasing, playing, eating, drinking, slobbering, snuggling, sleeping....Life is Good when shared with a dog or 2 or 3!
- Urban Flats in the Gulch for Matt's birthday dinner followed by more great conversation at the 360 Wine Bistro with a fine bottle of wine and tasty dessert. Time spent together with my family is priceless!
- Being teased by Maggie and reminded that I tend to repeat myself often... maybe not priceless, but I will get better at being teased. No promises on repeating myself.
- Pondering all the questions that Maggie asks and admiring her for that. (that's a whole blog in itself)
- Enjoying a fabulous dinner at the Cornwalls for Matt's birthday with Tony and Bethany and Russ and Stacey. Great food, Great friends and family...also priceless.
- Missing my spouse who headed back to Holland this afternoon and is letting me enjoy a few more days in the warmth of both the Nashville weather and my family. Why is missing him a highlight? Because I am just reminded of how much I love that man!
i loved it all. a lot. a lot a lot.
